Lakesia Tyson a native of Atlanta, GA and a divorced mother of two handsome boys. She accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior at the tender age of 9 at New Mountain Top Baptist Church., where she was baptized by Pastor Emeritus Forrest J. Saffo. At 16, she received the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues at New Life Assembly, where she learned the importance of intercession. She has a passion for music in which she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Clayton State University in 2005. She had the privilege to minister in song with Grammy recording artist, Anthony “Tonex” Williams aka B Slade and James Bignon. As a member of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Lithonia, GA, she enjoyed being a part of their 2004 recording, A Servants Prayer. As a leader and member of Liberty Temple, under the leadership of the Bishop Robert Tate (deceased) and Pastor Jean Tate. Lakesia began using her gifting of teaching in January 2010 at Liberty Temple, Decatur, GA, where she ministered for the first time. She along with First Lady Tate launched “Sister2Sister”, which is a ministry that teaches women how to be our sister’s keeper. They held a retreat in Dillard, GA where ladies from all over the US came out to meet new people, be healed, set free, and delivered. On May 20, 2012, Lakesia was ordained as Elder by Apostle Richard (Mae) Sanders and the late Bishop Robert (Jean) Tate. As her spirit parents, they trained her in her office as well as support her in gaining more knowledge and understanding of the Word of God. Apostle Mae Sanders pushed her to go deep in the Word and not to just skim the surface. She was later invited to First Fruit Ministry, Chattanooga, TN, now Kingdom Ministries where she asked the church, “Will Your Water Turn Into Wine?” In 2014, Lakesia was licensed and ordained a Prophetess under Abba’s Girls Ministry and holds the office of President. As a life learner, she was blessed to be under the leadership of Apostle Louis Jones and Pastor Kimberly Jones where they provided her with the opportunity to perfect her gift in teaching, intercession and prophecy. She was apart of the ministry’s prophetic presbytery. Continual education in the prophetic was provided by Prophetess Carla Clark, founder of Lion’s Roar Ministries and Lion’s Roar Academy, where she is currently a part of the prophetic team. Lakesia has been stretched in intercession and prophecy through this ministry, as she helps guide new and experience prophets in class. The School of the Prophets is held monthly and in-depth classes such as Prophecy 101 and Prophecy 102 are held as God instructs Prophetess Clark. Using the gift of helps, she would like to reach others through her testimonies. She is transparent and open to discuss hard topics. Her stories show that God is faithful to perform just what He spoke concerning you and her. God has used her mightily through years in which miracles, signs, and wonders have flowed her.
